OUR MISSION
Providence High School
is committed to offering a complete distance learning education for those seeking a high school diploma.

WE BELIEVE:

  • That whether a student desires to pursue a post secondary education or simply to realize a long time dream of completing high school, PHS provides the tools to make that dream a reality.
  • That prospective students often have family and employment responsibilities; therefore, our program has been designed to be compatible with modern lifestyles.
  • That our program is designed to address different learning styles and provide a sound education through distance learning.

OUR PROMISE TO STUDENTS:

We will provide quality coursework and online support at a reasonable price that conforms to the fast paced life style of people today. Whether it’s for a transition to the workforce or a post-secondary education, our students can complete each course at thier own pace while maintaining jobs or other responsibilities. Students have up to one year to complete each course.  PHS offers extensions in unusual circumstances.

Our staff of highly qualified instructors will offer support and guidance to any student who have a problem or academic question at no additional cost and with no maximum number of inquiries. Contact with students is promised within 24 hours of the original inquiry, but in most cases contacts will be made much sooner. Online help will consist of one or more of the following: emails, chatrooms, and/or phone calls.

We will provide counseling services to graduating students regarding college/vocational school admissions, college entrance exams (ACT/SAT) as well as other post secondary pursuits.

Our staff and instructors will always treat students and parents in a friendly and cordial manner with the success of our students being our number 1 priority regardless of race, religion or national origin.

Accreditation

An accredited school is a school that receives professional oversight of its educational practices and curriculum by an accrediting agency. Providence High School is a newly organized school. We are in the preliminary stages of qualifying to apply for accreditation. Consequently, we have designed all the curriculum accordingly and have involved highly qualified professionals who will help us meet state and national approval when that process begins. Our current curriculum meets most state standards and supports No Child Left Behind regulations.

Important: Potential students of Providence High School should know that a diploma from an accredited school is not a requirement for college or other post secondary admission. Rather, those institutions look more closely at ACT or SAT scores, along with your high school curriculum, grades and other activities and involvements to determine admission. However, it is always advisable for those who plan to pursue post secondary education to contact schools to determine their individual admission requirements, as requirements vary from institution to institution.
